Right now the biggest threat to the real estate industry is NOT decreasing commission business models. It is a combination of two things working as things sometimes do without planning. These two issues are the rampant number of REALTORS that are causing more problems than solving for their client - poor communication education etc. & companies that are beginning to be backed with BIG capital that offer a sell it now price at the first meeting. Lower commissions looks like a day in the park compared to these other growing issues.
